WORKING FOR A CATERER: WHAT SUITS YOU?
As a catering employee, you can go in many directions. In banqueting and service, you welcome guests, serve courses, and follow the room plan. At distribution and buffet, you set up, replenish, present neatly, and answer guest questions. In production, you assist as a kitchen assistant with mise-en-place, sandwiches, and salads, always according to HACCP. Behind the bar or coffee corner, you prepare drinks, make basic espressos, and handle payments. And in logistics and setup/teardown, you manage materials, routing, and timing with the team. Just starting to work in catering? We have entry-level shifts with guidance. Do you want to gain experience at larger events? Then we schedule you where you add the most value, so you quickly discover which catering work suits you best.
Freelance catering or employed: you decide
If you want freedom and your own rate, then go for freelance catering: clear agreements, DBA-proof, and fast payment. If you are looking for rhythm and a fixed team feeling, then choose employment. We also have freelance catering assignments for those who want flexibility with recurring locations.
Rates & arrangements
We agree on your rate/wage in advance based on role (distribution/banqueting/lead), hours (evening / weekend / holiday), and responsibilities. This way you know what to expect before you say “yes.”
